Nasville Metro Police Officer Charlie Banks was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault after allegedly pushing, strangling her and hitting his girlfriend in the face. Her dog, a mastiff, bit him and he had to be hospitalized for the bite almost a week. Good dog. And I've noticed lately that Nashville PD doesn't play - Banks has been decommissioned. He's also under administrative investigation by the Nashville Police Department's Office of Professional Accountability.
