What could make her feel safe enough to try to save her own life? I hope they both individually get emergency help - and maybe I'm dreaming - but I hope this is the event that chases alcohol use out of their lives or helps them to divide while they both have their lives. Stott, a 15 year-veteran assigned to the Volusia County Courthouse, was announced in a press release by Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Haught, that said he was off-duty at the time of the alleged battery. The arrest report, however, is far-more detailed, in which Stott's wife, Rose M. Fernandez-Stott, told deputies he pushed her to the ground in their backyard, causing abrasions to her left knee and marks on her neck from being grabbed. Photos of the injuries were taken on scene. The wife said her husband accused her of being "flirtatious" with an unknown 22-year-old man at the party, where alcohol was being consumed. Deputy Kyle Bainbridge wrote in his report of the 11:27 p.m. incident that the wife said her husband's actions were not his usual behavior and she was scared for her life, stating: "I don't want to die tonight." But when pressed to complete a statement, she declined... When the deputy was asked to explain the injuries to his wife, the arrest report states he told his fellow law enforcers: "She must have got that from (performing a sex act) on the guy."... ... [Volusia County Sheriff Ben] Johnson, however, has said on numerous occasions that he will not cover up any wrongdoing by any personnel under his command.... [Full article here]
