EXCERPTS FROM ONLINE COMMENTS:

WLEX TV news footage clearly showed the off-duty police officer having his hands photographed by police officers. WLEX also said that the police officer was divorced from the woman, and he came to pick up personal items at the home. The police spokesman, and Commander Stack, say that the officer is the victim. Interesting, that the police immediately came to the conclusion that the cop is the victim, and are not considering that the woman shot at her ex-husband in self defense. This is a domestic violence case between a cop and his divorced wife...

...I watched WKYT and got a somewhat different story, but something that still deserves further clarification. According to WKYT, the off duty officer had given notice to his former girlfriend, who lives in a home owned by the officer... The officer, who recently married someone else, was accompanied by an unnamed party... The officer recently got married and his ex-girlfriend is living in a home he owns?...
